1 Thessalonians 5:16 Commands us to “Always be joyful. Never stop praying.  Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

In other words, God’s Will for you life is:

• ALWAYS be joyful
• NEVER stop praying
• BE THANKFUL  no matter what

Let’s do that! Let’s stay in God’s will and do those 3 things. It seems so simple, but it will make your life so much better.

Now apply those 3 things to finding your wife:

1. ALWAYS be joyful, even when single! You can be and should be, happy now, before you’re married, before you’re even dating – because it’s God’s will! And please trust me on this, if you aren’t TRULY happy now, you won’t be truly happy when you’re married. Don’t be deceived.

2. NEVER stop praying. Pray FOR your future wife, pray that God is making you better and preparing you now to be an amazing God-honoring husband.

3. BE THANKFUL for where you are, and what you have today. Be thankful in your singleness, God knows what’s up, He sees you, He has a great plan for your future, be thankful now and you’ll experience happiness, hope and peace, even before your wife comes.

The secret to getting married is being confident in who you are.

You are God’s son.

He knows the desires of your heart, he knows that you want to get married.

Don’t worry about it.

I repeat, don’t worry about it. God hasn’t forgotten about you.

I’ve had some older men ask me, “What about those people who aren’t supposed to get married? I’ve heard the Bible talk about that before, do you think that’s me?”

And the answer is: If you have a desire to get married, than you are not one of those people. God has a wife picked out for you.

But right now, contentment is key.

You HAVE to be happy now.

Here are a few things you can do to help that:

Some of the best advice I ever received was to pray for my future wife daily.

Pray like this, “God I thank You in advance for my future wife, I thank you Lord that she is happy, healthy, and walking in Your will. Thank You that she is blessed today in all areas of her life. That she is confident and strong in You Lord, that she is led by the Spirit and all is going well with her. Thank You that is she is safe and protected and You are lining things up to bring her to me at just the right time!”

Pray for her as though you already know her, as though she is already here.

 

This simple action brought me, and will bring you an amazing amount of peace in your life. Do this every day and I guarantee you won’t “worry” about meeting your future spouse ever again. You need to start praying like this immediately.

Then, I started praying over myself: “God I ask you today to work on me. I give you permission to correct me and make me better. Slap me, push me, nudge me, whatever You have to do to get my attention and keep me on course. I don’t want to be just a good husband, I want to be an AMAZING husband. Show me what I need to work on today, in order to have an amazing marriage in the future. Teach me to be a great man of God, show me the areas I need more discipline in, prepare me financially for the future God. I thank You for making me a great man, then a great  boyfriend, then a great fiance and soon after, a great husband. Thank You Lord for today!”

I’m telling you, that right there is a game-changer. Get on board with praying like this each and every day and your wife will be here in no time.

Praying like this out loud, builds up your hope and builds up your faith. It builds up your “patient endurance.”

Check  out Hebrews 10:35-36  “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!  Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”

Patient endurance is what you need NOW.  In this context “patient endurance” refers to an aggressive patience. It’s a powerful little phrase, and God will give you the patient endurance. Keep praying those prayers I showed you and your patient endurance level will grow and it will become much easier. THEN you will receive all that God has promised.

By remembering that God has great plans for us, a great hope and future, we can be happy today! Lets look at the book of Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 29:11  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

The Message Translation puts it this way, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”

I promise you, if you’re not happy and content now, you won’t be happy and content when you’re married.

I’ve seen several people in my lives have the attitude that they will be so much happier once they’re married. Their happiness is contingent upon them finding their wife.

When we have this attitude, I believe you will miss God’s best. You will settle for a good wife instead of the BEST wife.

And as someone who has married the BEST wife, you don’t want anything less. I will have more on this later.

Philippians 4:6-7  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 

Don’t have anxiety about being single, don’t be anxious to get married, follow the instructions in this scripture and God’s peace will fall on you.

Be a confident and strong man of God.

Girls find this extremely attractive.

Don’t be desperate, because you’re not. You trust God.

Live for God, get planted in a Church, serve, and be faithful, then your life will flourish.

Get happy TODAY!

She’s coming, and she’s far better than you ever imagined.
